The first three days of the film shoot for episode 4 have recently been completed and ready for editing, the episode will not be ready until 23rd August when its final day is set to be bringing in actor, Tim Rutherford to guest star as the sinister... more to be revealed as the episode nears its release date....
A week Sunday begins the work on episode 3 and this means that by the time the series goes for its release in September 5 of the 6 episodes in the series will be complete....

Pre prod complete on series 1...
With the script for episode 6 (the big finale) finally being finished, the series has now been completely written. The pre production stages for series 1 are complete and now all that is needed is the filming dates and post prod, here is the current status of each episode:
Episode 1: set in stone (complete)
Episode 2: Playtime (complete)
Episode 3: Assassination point (Written)
Episode 4: Forever Dreaming (Written)
Episode 5: Sting of the seer (Complete)
Episode 6: The Genius' Conflict (Written)
The big finale has been confirmed to be double the size of the others, hitting 63 pages in script size. "It's a risky move", comments Rafferty. "But it's going to pay off when fans of our series watch it, it will be like piecing together the puzzle that is series 1"...
Meanwhile on the you tube channel, it has been confirmed that after the you tube sitcom "Living with Raffers and Kay" finishes its first series on July 31st, the hype will begin with a teaser trailer for the series the following week, building up to have a main trailer and then finally a pre-release confidential...

Half way line!
The first series and Allan and Jacob's Doctor who has finally hit its half way line! Episodes 1, 2 and 5 are in the can with half of episode 4 to be filmed in July and the other half to be filmed back to back with episode 3. "It's amazing", comments Rafferty. "By the time of broadcast we will have 5 of the episodes done and ready to go out to the audience". He grins at us. "Episode 5 has the perfect ending, everyone who has seen it is now eagerly awaiting the creation of the finale, which is looking to be our longest episode, the aim is to hit 45 minutes for the finale".
Meanwhile pre-prod for episodes 3 and 4 has begun, the directing duo already spending a good hundred quid on the episode 3 budget and are readying themselves for a very different take on who, working on adapting the comic of Forever dreaming...
So far looking at the 3 episodes that are already in the can we can confirm that this series, isn't one any Doctor who fan is going to want to miss...

Allan Rafferty interviewed on Radio 101 and Whooverville 3
Recently Allan Rafferty has been interviewed about his upcoming Doctor who series and on the channel has confirmed that they are set to begin release in September 2011, if listening to the radio show a little closer, listeners will be able to find the set date of the first Doctor who episode; set in stone. The show also goes on to talk about Whooverville 3, an upcoming event being hosted in Derby at the Quad. Allan recently got in contact with event runner, Steve Hatcher who has confirmed there may well be a slot of a trailer of the series, or even the full first episode to be broadcast early in front of that live audience.
