Allan Rafferty and Jacob Kay recently released an update on their Doctor who series:
In this update they explained that due to such technical difficulties as losing footage, broken SD card and lost camera charges, the series seems impossible to finish release this year. Instead, the final three episodes of series one (sting of the seer, gathering an army and the genius conflict) are set to be released January-Febuary 2012.
This said it has also been confirmed that a second series of Doctor who should be heading towards our monitors in 2013, in the video Allan said; "We're pushing boundaries, I don't think any other fan films could pull off a period drama in the way that we're going to", he has not confirmed what he means by this, only that the next six episodes will be brilliant and more professional with bigger twists and turns.
